The city of Frisco received a $437,000 grant from the Motor Vehicle Crime Prevention Authority at the Texas Department of Motor Vehicles for the camera system.
At the annual gathering, McKinney CIO Omar Rodriguez and Fort Worth CTO Kevin Gunn spoke about how their respective cities have implemented AI in separate discussions.
His resume includes roles in Dallas County and the cities of Denton and Garland, all in technology.
McKinney will spend more than half-million dollars on supplemental IT items and additional money on court and library items.
