The database rolled out last week as part of the 88th Legislature’s mandated agency tech tools.
The role has a salary of up to $110,000 per year and will position the agency to improve its cybersecurity maturity.
The Texas Commission on Law Enforcement expects to reach three IT goals in the coming months, according to a Friday update.
The money will cover regular budget items and new data initiatives.
