Four Northern California counties were recognized for their innovation and IT excellence in this year’s Digital Counties Survey.
The county is tackling the looming wildfire threat head-on with Land Tender, a cloud-based tool offering personalized risk management and prioritization strategies for government agencies.
“Just as with any Internet search, one must validate the sources of AI,” writes senior IT analyst Ben Palacio. “Would you really believe just anything on the Internet? Does the same question apply to AI? (By the way, you should answer no!)”

Placer, Sonoma and Marin counties received honors from the Center for Digital Government for their work in public engagement, cybersecurity and transparency.
